Molossidae
The Molossidae, or free-tailed bats, are a robust family of bats within the order Chiroptera, comprising around 110 species as of 2012. They are known for their strong flight capabilities, able to reach speeds of 60 miles per hour and fly at altitudes over 10,000 feet.
