Wales

Wales (Welsh: Cymru) is a country in the United Kingdom, bordered by the Irish Sea, England, the Bristol Channel, and the Celtic Sea. As of 2021, it had a population of 3.2 million and an area of 21,218 square kilometers (8,192 square miles), including over 2,700 kilometers (1,680 miles) of coastline. The country is mainly mountainous, with Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) as its highest peak. Wales has a maritime climate and its capital is Cardiff.
