Community Engagement: Keeping the Scottish birding community updated on the committee’s activities and progress.
Record Assessment: Evaluating species records on the SBRC List in collaboration with Local Recorders and committees to ensure thorough assessment before publication in the annual Scottish Birds Records Report.
Publications: Sharing assessed records on the SOC website and providing Excel files of species records on the SBRC Species Analysis page.
List Maintenance: Maintaining the Scottish List of bird species.
Research Papers: Producing papers on identification and status relevant to Scotland, coordinated by the committee.
