Rorquals

Rorquals are the largest group of baleen whales in the family Balaenopteridae, which includes nine species. The blue whale, the largest known animal, can weigh up to 180 tonnes (200 short tons), while the fin whale reaches up to 120 tonnes (130 short tons). The smallest rorqual, the northern minke whale, weighs around 9 tonnes (10 short tons).
