Lizards

Lizards are squamate reptiles, excluding snakes and amphisbaenians, and include over 7,000 species found on every continent except Antarctica and most oceanic islands. This classification is paraphyletic, with some lizards more closely related to snakes. They vary in size from small chameleons and geckos a few centimeters long to the 3-meter-long Komodo dragon.
