International Ornithologists’ Union

The International Ornithologists’ Union (IOU) is a global organization dedicated to advancing ornithology by linking research and promoting education. It organizes global congresses, supports commissions on avian biology and conservation, and initiates international ornithological activities in line with its mission. To foster collaboration, the IOU lists its members’ names and affiliations on its website and serves as the Ornithology Section of the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS).
