Dipsacus is a genus of flowering plants in the Caprifoliaceae family, commonly known as teasels. It includes around 15 species of tall biennial plants, sometimes short-lived perennials, reaching heights of 1 to 2.5 meters (3.3 to 8.2 feet). Dipsacus species are native to Europe, Asia, and northern Africa.
