Dartmoor

Dartmoor is an upland area in southern Devon (pictured left), South West England, designated as a National Park since 1951. Covering 954 km² (368 sq mi), the landscape features moorland and granite hilltops known as tors, which provide habitats for wildlife. The highest point is High Willhays at 621 m (2,037 ft).

The Dartmoor National Park Authority manages the park, with 22 members from local councils and the government.
