Birds Of Prey

Birds of prey, or raptors, are hypercarnivorous birds that hunt and feed on vertebrates, mainly mammals, reptiles, and smaller birds. They have keen eyesight for spotting prey, strong feet with sharp talons for catching it, and curved beaks for tearing flesh. While they primarily hunt live prey, some species, like fish eagles and vultures, also scavenge carrion.
